Obituary of Elizabeth Cooke

The world became a darker place this past Sunday, July 5th when Elizabeth’s light left this world and she joined her Nanny and Godmother in their sweet embrace. Elizabeth (Alex, Batmom), leaves behind her ‘boy wonder’ and son Ethan Alexander Cooke (8 years).  Elizabeth is survived by her parents:  Debra Timmons, Ray Pye (step-father) and Hugh Cooke (father).  Her sister (Angie Legacy), brother-in-law (John Dupont) and nephews, Liam Legacy (16) and Riley Legacy (14), her brother (Vincent Timmons) and niece (Cheyenne), deeply feel her loss. Elizabeth succumbed to her illness after a lengthy fight supported by fiancé Peter Britain. Liz is lovingly remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and a huge and wonderful group of friends.  Elizabeth has made an incredible impact on so many lives in her short 29 years and leaves her imprint on our hearts, mind and actions. 

She will now be able to achieve her dream of a date with David Bowie!

Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston.  Family and friends will be received on Wednsday, July 15, 2020 from 2-4 pm. Due to COVID restrictions all attendee's must RSVP directly to the James Reid Funeral Home by phone (613-544-3411) on Tuesday from 9am - 5pm to obtain a time to see the family on Wednesday, there will be no attending without a confirmed time.  Mandatory COVID 19 protocols will also be in effect including physical distancing outside and inside the funeral home and wearing of face masks will be required. Should you not have a mask, one will be supplied for you by the funeral home.

Amey's Taxi Driver - Suddenly, on Sunday, June 17, 2007 in his 51st year. David was the loving son of Shirley (nee Lisqum) and the late Norman Krick. Beloved brother of Raymond and his wife Robyn, and Brenda. He will be sadly missed by his niece Cheryl and nephew Justin. Friends will be received at the CENTRAL CHAPEL of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday between the hours of 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in our chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations for those wishing may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Taxi Driver with Amey's Cab Company. Peacefully, at home with his family and friends on Tuesday, February 6th, 2007. Beloved son of Arthur and Ann Wright of Camden East. Dearly loved companion of Tanya Morgan. Loved father of Sarah Fisher (Billy Burdett), Jamie Teeple (Sam), Dionne Wright, Matthew Teeple and Adam Wright. Fondly remembered by Tanya's children Chris, Zack, Jeremy and Jeffrey. Lovingly remembered by his grandchidren. Dear brother of Mary Whitney (Ken) of Camden East and Ellen Southern of Aylmer.
